Sherry Hinman is a freelance editor/writer and the owner of The Write Angle. She specializes in the technical, consumer and regulatory healthcare industry. She has also edited several novels and non-fiction manuscripts for authors who’ve self-published. She is a published author of over 100 articles in magazines and newspapers, locally, nationally and internationally.
Sherry’s degrees in linguistics and speech-language pathology enabled her to develop a combined expertise in health and language, and she also has her editing certificate from George Brown College. Sherry is a Certified Professional Editor through the Editors’ Association of Canada.
In addition to writing and editing, Sherry is also a professor in the Communicative Disorders Assistant program at Durham College and a creative writing instructor at the Oshawa Senior Citizens Centres. She is a member of the Editors’ Association of Canada, past president of The Writers’ Community of Durham Region, and treasurer and co-chair of the Ontario Writers’ Conference. info@thewriteangle.ca
